Whenever anyone asks for a suggestion for an easy hike I always first ask them if they’ve hiked before. If they’ve done a few hikes then I suggest Echo Valley and if they are relatively or completely new then Elsie’s Peak is my suggestion. There’s a good reason for that. Elsie’s Peak offers amazing views for not that much effort.
The Tweede Waterval trail
With two large waterfalls to see, a river to cross and rock pools to swim in, the Tweede Waterval trail is the perfect hike for Summer.

My favourite part about hiking is getting away from the noise of the city. Echo Valley is the perfect place to do just that.
